I started a new Leader and Ender Project from one of Bonnie Hunters books (Adventures with Leaders and Enders- I think). I am trying to pull fabrics only from my scrap basket for the 9 patches. I am not being choosy so it is definitely a mish mash. I will have to go into my stash for the half square triangles and I may have to purchase some neutrals. I love these tiny squares and find myself sewing on them in large amounts instead of saving them for just between blocks. Oops!
Alive and Piecing 
Sounds like a cool project! I have a little container of small scraps for leaders and enders – glad a quilting teacher taught about those years ago – so. many thread nests have been prevented!
